Description of the Experience
Chemistry, despite the fact that it surrounds us, and we have to deal with it every day, is difficult, complicated and confusing for most people. We can distinguish some basic reasons why chemistry makes us so much difficulty. One of them is writing the equations of chemical reactions and molecular formulas. Drawing, memorizing together with the name and converting them causes the problem even to the best. Another reason are the schemes and designing experience, which should be taught in practice, not in theory. Another difficulty is naming chemical substances produced in a chemical reaction. As a result, names are often difficult to pronounce and remember, e.g. glyceryl tristearate.

Dissemination Seminar in Florence

31 October 2015 The seminar has been held in ITIS “A. Meucci” one of the schools involved within Goerudio project activities. Its main aim was to promote the results of the project toward a broad sample of stakeholders even overcrossing the number of people directly involved in the production of project outcomes. This purpose has been totally achieved especially thanks to the participation of students and teachers coming from different schools or from other classes instead of those ones directly involved within the project activities.
