Description of the Experience
In the beginning I would like to say that geography is very interesting and gripping subject. We have just recently got over the topic of Italy. This country has entered in my mind the most out of all the states we learned about. At the beginning of the lesson we watched a presentation of my classmates who study Italian. Later our professor told us something about the country and already even then I was extremely stunned from Italy.
Since Italy is big and has a lot of areas we separated the topic in two classes. However, the second time was different. Our professor has prepared a surprise for us that probably no one expected. It was a conversation with her son. He spoke very interestingly, it was not the typical „textbook narrative" lecture. Since he had experienced Italy firsthand, he knew and told us many different and interesting things. The lesson was not just about the picture of a coliseum and that is it. During his story telling a person imagined he is a real man in Italy and experienced the given areas as if he lived there or at least as if he had been there by himself. For me it was a very powerful experience that will not be so easily forgotten. I will be very glad if such lessons will be repeated.

Dissemination Seminar in Florence

31 October 2015 The seminar has been held in ITIS “A. Meucci” one of the schools involved within Goerudio project activities. Its main aim was to promote the results of the project toward a broad sample of stakeholders even overcrossing the number of people directly involved in the production of project outcomes. This purpose has been totally achieved especially thanks to the participation of students and teachers coming from different schools or from other classes instead of those ones directly involved within the project activities.
