Description of the Experience
The topic of the lesson was Nature conservation - causes, manifestations and consequences, ways of nature conservation, protected areas in Slovakia.

The aim of the lesson was to find information on the causes, manifestations and consequences of nature conservation, and at the same time to find out information about protected areas in Slovakia. Since I consider the abovementioned topics very easy and well known to the students, I decided students will work individually. Once again, we had the opportunity to be in the PC room so students created PowerPoint presentations on the topic. They were gaining information from Internet, working with expert texts and graphic materials.

During the lesson we evaluated the topic parts verbally in order to help students gain orientation in the issue. Therefore most of the lesson I only had to guide them. At the end of the lesson we briefly repeated basic information on the subject.

The lesson conduct was smooth with no distractions, students worked as expected.

Dissemination Seminar in Florence

31 October 2015 The seminar has been held in ITIS “A. Meucci” one of the schools involved within Goerudio project activities. Its main aim was to promote the results of the project toward a broad sample of stakeholders even overcrossing the number of people directly involved in the production of project outcomes. This purpose has been totally achieved especially thanks to the participation of students and teachers coming from different schools or from other classes instead of those ones directly involved within the project activities.
