Description of the Experience
The trigonometric functions as functions of angles and ratio of sides in a rectangular triangle are difficult to be remembered by the students. In order to remember these ratio more easily I drive them to make association with the first letter the term begins – sinus. The sinus of angle ‘α’ is ratio of opposite standing cathetus to hypotenuse. The word ‘sinus’ and the word ‘opposite’ (in Bulgarian) begin with one the same letter – ‘s’. So they easily remember which cathetus defines sinus and then by the method of exclusion the other cathetus – the adjacent, remains for defining of cosine of the angle.

Dissemination Seminar in Florence

31 October 2015 The seminar has been held in ITIS “A. Meucci” one of the schools involved within Goerudio project activities. Its main aim was to promote the results of the project toward a broad sample of stakeholders even overcrossing the number of people directly involved in the production of project outcomes. This purpose has been totally achieved especially thanks to the participation of students and teachers coming from different schools or from other classes instead of those ones directly involved within the project activities.
