Description of the educational product
The educational product is addressed to upper secondary school students between 18 and 19 years old. And it is from the Physics sector.
The aim of an educational model is to illustrate a scientific concept through an image that has been chosen by a student.
In this specific model the scientific concept of Pendulum is explained. The explanation of the scientific concept is exposed to the students through the association of the concepts of a cat playing with a hanging tassel.
Once the model has been developed, the student presents it to the classmates asking for their opinion about the usability of the model itself. The discussion, moderated by the teacher, is a training moment and a good opportunity for him to explain the scientific concept and also evaluate the students’ interaction.
The achievement of the model had a high impact on the students’ comprehension and understanding of a scientific concept, involving also their creative thinking.

Effective, lovely, inexpensive model.
Each pupil can bring his or her own example, what can help him or her to understand to the topic as a whole.
It would be fine if each pupil would prepare own example, also in relation to their interests or difficulty of examples.

I like it as it uses educational way which is close to pupils – video – to explain this physical topic in an easy way. At the same time involving each pupil in the class. And it still remains easy to understand for everybody.
I mostly liked the video, I believe it was explained in a way everybody could understand.

Thanks to the video, which is attractive for students and motivates them to try it in the class, or even create something similar on their own.
Thanks to video, which we have watched. It was very funny, and we would like to try that in our class, too.

Definitely yes, I can use it as a video sample from YouTube. I use similar samples, already. Pupils love to watch videos, even videos with physical experiments. It motivates them.
Yes, we would like to do that.

Visually demonstrative, simple model, which shows the topic via ordinary life example.
Effective, lovely, inexpensive model.

It allows pupils to understand the feature through well known example from ordinary life. It even allows pupils to discuss this topic in the class and involve all the pupils.
Each pupil can bring his or her own example, what can help him or her to understand to the topic as a whole.

Definitely, at least as a demonstration and to motivate pupils.
It would be fine if each pupil would prepare own example, also in relation to their interests or difficulty of examples.

Dissemination Seminar in Florence

31 October 2015 The seminar has been held in ITIS “A. Meucci” one of the schools involved within Goerudio project activities. Its main aim was to promote the results of the project toward a broad sample of stakeholders even overcrossing the number of people directly involved in the production of project outcomes. This purpose has been totally achieved especially thanks to the participation of students and teachers coming from different schools or from other classes instead of those ones directly involved within the project activities.
