Description of the educational product
The educational product is addressed to upper secondary school students between 14 and 15 years old.
The aim of an educational model is to illustrate a scientific concept through an image that has been chosen by a student.
In this specific model the concept of liquid is explained.
Once the model has been developed, the student presents it to the classmates asking for their opinion about the usability of the model itself. The discussion, moderated by the teacher, is a training moment and a good opportunity for him to explain the scientific concept and also evaluate the students’ interaction. The student himself also translated the model, which is training of his language skills in the specific matter.
The expected results from using this model would be better comprehension and understanding of a scientific concept, stimulation of the creative thinking of the students, improving their discussion and assessment abilities.

Very good idea how to show particle of liquid by beads. Beads are very easy to move in the same way as liquids.

Liquids are around us , we in permanent contact with liquids, and tehy are part of our life. This is a reason that student should have more interest about liquids.

According to this educational product, it is hard to explain liquid. I have the same opinion that the best example of explaining this is big box with small balls that is used for modeling of a liquid. This model is relevant. It is very easy to understand. It motivates students to learn such things more and more.

This resource is significant because it places the student in a state of problem solving, which should create a model that would explain a topic in a clear and understandable to others, explaining at the same time, the reasons.
The resource is important to make the student participant of their knowledge, in order to feel motivated to move forward in the learning path.
In my classes I can test this resource because the Institute technical cheap to teach chemistry is a matter of general knowledge and, therefore, based on the acquisition of the fundamental concepts of the discipline.
The educational product it thought it was interesting because reproposed for the target audience.

Liquids are very important to the human body and that is why we need to inform about them and to see their composition. From this educational product, students find out the difference between solids and liquids and why are these 2 categories so different. The explanation implies informtion from Physics and also a little bit from Chemistry.

Dissemination Seminar in Florence

31 October 2015 The seminar has been held in ITIS “A. Meucci” one of the schools involved within Goerudio project activities. Its main aim was to promote the results of the project toward a broad sample of stakeholders even overcrossing the number of people directly involved in the production of project outcomes. This purpose has been totally achieved especially thanks to the participation of students and teachers coming from different schools or from other classes instead of those ones directly involved within the project activities.
