Description of the educational product
This model is made for students of secondary school and also some vocational training courses
The aim of the model is to show what the physic phenomenon that sustain electrolysis, albeit this is partially shown. In the model one can see a group of kids roaming near a wall, they can be attracted by the wall (as they like to climb it, they enjoy it), when doing this, they have to do it alone, and can0t be linked to any other kid, This is the basis for the battery electricity production. lease describe:
The expected result is the comprenhension of the physic phenomenon and the knowledge that some materials are suitable to be used in the electrolysis procedure.

This is very good visualization and model for electrolysis. This idea with wall is perfect and can show students really as a model basic principles of electrolysis . What is very important is that it very useful for our everyday life because battery and other things are around us and this explanation is very important as a basic motivation for future knowledges in physics.

Physics and chemistry have always been bit difficult for me, especially because the knowledge is abstract and is difficult to imagine exactly what is the teacher talking about. Using models and visualizing specific concepts can help the students a lot to understand the subject better. I like that model for electrolysis very much. It's simple and very helpful.

Dissemination Seminar in Florence

31 October 2015 The seminar has been held in ITIS “A. Meucci” one of the schools involved within Goerudio project activities. Its main aim was to promote the results of the project toward a broad sample of stakeholders even overcrossing the number of people directly involved in the production of project outcomes. This purpose has been totally achieved especially thanks to the participation of students and teachers coming from different schools or from other classes instead of those ones directly involved within the project activities.
