Description of the educational product
The educational product is addressed to upper secondary school students between 14 and 15 years old.
The aim of an educational model is to illustrate a scientific concept through an image that has been chosen by a student.
In this specific model the concept of capacitor is explained.
Once the model has been developed, the student presents it to the classmates asking for their opinion about the usability of the model itself. The discussion, moderated by the teacher, is a training moment and a good opportunity for him to explain the scientific concept and also evaluate the students’ interaction. The student himself also translated the model, which is training of his language skills in the specific matter.
The expected results from using this model would be better comprehension and understanding of a scientific concept (capacitors in this case), stimulation of the creative thinking of the students, improving their discussion and assessment abilities.

I think this model is relevant. It helps to understand how works capacitor. But unfortunately it is a bit boring, it lacks some obvious examples. Overall I like model, but it needs some improvements like better picture.

According to this educational product, it is hard to explain how a works a condeser. I have the same oppinion that the best example of explaining this is the thermos that is used for mantaining the temperature of a liquid. I am planning to test this plan to see if it really works. I will make some improvements like changing a bit the order and adding more pictures to be showed in front of the class.

Dissemination Seminar in Florence

31 October 2015 The seminar has been held in ITIS “A. Meucci” one of the schools involved within Goerudio project activities. Its main aim was to promote the results of the project toward a broad sample of stakeholders even overcrossing the number of people directly involved in the production of project outcomes. This purpose has been totally achieved especially thanks to the participation of students and teachers coming from different schools or from other classes instead of those ones directly involved within the project activities.
