The proposal is interesting because it allows the student to enter the world of genetics through simple experiments that require materials readily available.
The student is induced, in this way, to reflect that everything is studied in science explains and justifies phenomena that have the opportunity to observe every day and that can be verified. I often use this method as part of the lessons of Biology, with good results.
The experimental method, in fact, allows for active student participation especially if it involves the discussion and understanding of the various stages of operation.

I liked the lesson plan and the experiment, envisaged in it. I think it will be very useful in my practice. DNA is one of the complex topic for students and I always try to look for easy and understandable examples and experiments to try to explain it in a more comprehensible manner for them. I will definitely try that product and in general I think any activity that makes students participate and think could be good for overcoming their lack of motivation.

Dissemination Seminar in Florence
31 October 2015 The seminar has been held in ITIS “A. Meucci” one of the schools involved within Goerudio project activities. Its main aim was to promote the results of the project toward a broad sample of stakeholders even overcrossing the number of people directly involved in the production of project outcomes. This purpose has been totally achieved especially thanks to the participation of students and teachers coming from different schools or from other classes instead of those ones directly involved within the project activities.
