Description of the Experience
Chemistry in elementary school did not cause difficulties for me. I thought that in the technical college will be alike. Everything was well until we started to learned the general and inorganic chemistry, as well I remembered taught in elementary school, I realized the teacher’s explanation and got good and successful marks. The difficulties began when we started to learn organic chemistry. We were required to know the names of the first ten hydrocarbons homologous. It was hard to remember them in the correct order. The teacher dictated to us sentence in which each word started with the same letter as the hydrocarbon homologue. She said that it is associative recollection. At the moment I study in the fourth year and don’t acquire the chemistry more, but the hydrocarbons homologous names I still remember.

Dissemination Seminar in Florence

31 October 2015 The seminar has been held in ITIS “A. Meucci” one of the schools involved within Goerudio project activities. Its main aim was to promote the results of the project toward a broad sample of stakeholders even overcrossing the number of people directly involved in the production of project outcomes. This purpose has been totally achieved especially thanks to the participation of students and teachers coming from different schools or from other classes instead of those ones directly involved within the project activities.
