Description of the Experience
In this experience we studied the speed of a falling body with parabolic motion.
We dropped a metal ball from a curve in PVC, giving it the parabolic motion, placed over two sheets, one of paper and one of carbon paper, so as to measure the distance that the ball would have reached, and repeating the operation three times; then we raised the curve in pvc and we repeated the launches.
The difficulty of this experience was in dropping the ball without imposing any force on it and in elevating the pvc curve keeping it perpendicular to the workbench, but thanks to a bit of precision and patience and to the help of tools such as the plumb line we found roughly similar measures.

Dissemination Seminar in Florence

31 October 2015 The seminar has been held in ITIS “A. Meucci” one of the schools involved within Goerudio project activities. Its main aim was to promote the results of the project toward a broad sample of stakeholders even overcrossing the number of people directly involved in the production of project outcomes. This purpose has been totally achieved especially thanks to the participation of students and teachers coming from different schools or from other classes instead of those ones directly involved within the project activities.
