Description of the Experience
The experience consisted in calculating kinetic and potential energy to verify that mechanic energy (the sum of kinetic energy and the potential one) kept constant because of the principle of conservation of mechanic energy.
I used the data which I had got after using the air cushion rail to calculate the energies; we did four tests and we calculated the time that the truck took to cover a distance at different heights with the air cushion rail.
At the end of this experience I could demonstrate that mechanic energy kept constant within the bounds of its uncertainty.
I understood how the potential energy turns into kinetic energy; I also understood that the sum of these two energies keeps constant.


Dissemination Seminar in Florence

31 October 2015 The seminar has been held in ITIS “A. Meucci” one of the schools involved within Goerudio project activities. Its main aim was to promote the results of the project toward a broad sample of stakeholders even overcrossing the number of people directly involved in the production of project outcomes. This purpose has been totally achieved especially thanks to the participation of students and teachers coming from different schools or from other classes instead of those ones directly involved within the project activities.
