Description of the Experience
I'm Roel Ceka, I'm studying in one of the best technical institute of Florence (Italy), the I.T.I.S MEUCCI. The school, likes all the technical institutes has many laboratories ( Physics, Chemistry, informatics, etc...). The Physics labora-tory has many tools, that we use for our works, that we transform in reports, with calculations, physicals principles, graphics and personal note.
Among the many experiences that we had, I've decided to talk about the simple pendulum, in which our purpose was to verify the indirect measure of the gravity acceleration. I chose the simple pendulum because in this experience I've been successful and because it is the one that I liked the most.
I think, that the success was determined by the fact that I was personally in-volved in the experience: taking measurements, mounting and studying the pendulum directly in the laboratory.
In fact, using the support rod and a ball of yarn I built the pendulum and with a tape measure and a stopwatch I made the measurements that I needed to accomplish the purpose of my experience.
My direct contact with the tool was fundamental, because I think that when you do something alone you enjoy it, and if you work with desire and pleasure, it is sure that you will receive the proper satisfaction from your work, and this was another fact that determined the success of the experience.
I do not like all scientific subjects and I think that teachers should change their teaching methodology by making it fun for students, who certainly, pushed out by curiosity, and also by the desire to know they will want to know more and more.

Dissemination Seminar in Florence

31 October 2015 The seminar has been held in ITIS “A. Meucci” one of the schools involved within Goerudio project activities. Its main aim was to promote the results of the project toward a broad sample of stakeholders even overcrossing the number of people directly involved in the production of project outcomes. This purpose has been totally achieved especially thanks to the participation of students and teachers coming from different schools or from other classes instead of those ones directly involved within the project activities.
