Description of the Experience
According to me, the easiest thing in chemistry is to memorize the chemical symbols. Usually, there is only one letter assigned to element, and therefore there is no problem in memorizing them. You need to focus more on the elements which name has two letters, and then they are just as simple. I remember when I had problems at the beginning of studying the elements, but quickly understood it and learned it after my chemistry teacher explained that the letter symbols are derived from the Latin names of the elements and presented examples, such as calcium - Ca. Definitely it is easier for me to memorize the symbols of the elements, learning first Latin names. Since then, I have no problems with the symbols of chemical elements.

Dissemination Seminar in Florence

31 October 2015 The seminar has been held in ITIS “A. Meucci” one of the schools involved within Goerudio project activities. Its main aim was to promote the results of the project toward a broad sample of stakeholders even overcrossing the number of people directly involved in the production of project outcomes. This purpose has been totally achieved especially thanks to the participation of students and teachers coming from different schools or from other classes instead of those ones directly involved within the project activities.
