Description of the Experience
At science classes you can learn interesting things about the world. Recently I really liked the lesson "We are surrounded by air."
I could not believe that the air in the classroom can weigh 100 kg! But the experience that we made convinced me that the air puts pressure on me.
We put the ruler at the edge of the table, but it overhung the edge a little. We laid the card on the ruler. We hit the overhanging part of the line to pick up the card. We repeated the experiment with a piece of crumpled into a ball.
It turned out that although the ball and card weigh the same, you have to hit harder to lift the card. We had to overcome the extra pressure of air, which was more over a larger surface! It was awesome!

Dissemination Seminar in Florence

31 October 2015 The seminar has been held in ITIS “A. Meucci” one of the schools involved within Goerudio project activities. Its main aim was to promote the results of the project toward a broad sample of stakeholders even overcrossing the number of people directly involved in the production of project outcomes. This purpose has been totally achieved especially thanks to the participation of students and teachers coming from different schools or from other classes instead of those ones directly involved within the project activities.
