Description of the Experience
During the meeting of the environmental group we went into the forest. We took with us atlases, aids to identify species, magnifying glasses and binoculars. Our teacher taught us to recognize the different species of forest trees and shrubs on the basis of the construction of their leaves or the shape of cones. We watched closely some insects and birds.
It was a very enjoyable trip, learning combined with fun and relaxation close to nature. The leaves and cones picked up during the trip were used to create a school herbarium.
After the forest expedition I can easily recognize pine, spruce, fir, oak or beech.

Dissemination Seminar in Florence

31 October 2015 The seminar has been held in ITIS “A. Meucci” one of the schools involved within Goerudio project activities. Its main aim was to promote the results of the project toward a broad sample of stakeholders even overcrossing the number of people directly involved in the production of project outcomes. This purpose has been totally achieved especially thanks to the participation of students and teachers coming from different schools or from other classes instead of those ones directly involved within the project activities.
