Description of the Experience
Understanding the functioning and using a spreadsheet was so far the most difficult about learning computer science for me. Teacher started to introduce concepts such as the cell, the cell address and data types. Then we started to perform simple exercises. The difficulties began when we were introduced to formulate the calculations and references to specific cells in formulas.
I have problems in remembering some of the properties of embedded formulas and relevance of the data to the task. Our teacher showed patience and repeatedly explained to me the principles of using the programme and gave me extra exercises to do on my own in order to practice and consolidate what was on the lesson.
Another element of the programme are graphs. It is easy to insert them, but to fill the chart with the right details like the title, the data on the X axis caused problems. It happened that many times I did not choose the correct column to the chart and inserted a blank chart. Continuous training and support of teacher help me to create the appropriate graph.
The programme is not difficult, but you need a little practice and find solution for problems. I was not able to memorize the formulas. I wrote them down and repeated before a lesson, or just took out the notebook and checked them. The teacher of ICT let us look to notebook repeatedly, and when she wanted us to work on problem she asked us to find a solution in various sources.

Dissemination Seminar in Florence

31 October 2015 The seminar has been held in ITIS “A. Meucci” one of the schools involved within Goerudio project activities. Its main aim was to promote the results of the project toward a broad sample of stakeholders even overcrossing the number of people directly involved in the production of project outcomes. This purpose has been totally achieved especially thanks to the participation of students and teachers coming from different schools or from other classes instead of those ones directly involved within the project activities.
