Description of the Experience
I am studying economics in a vocational secondary school. Our teacher always tries to look at theoretical tasks practically. One of the best examples and themes comprehensible for me was inflation. The teacher explained the theory and told us about the causes of inflation. She taught us a difference between demand inflation and cost inflation. The theoretical knowledge of the lesson I consolidated practically : I calculated who gains and who loses in case of an unexpected inflation and I calculated inflation rate using consumer goods indexes. It is not difficult if you know the formula. The homework helped to consolidate theoretical knowledge. I had difficulties with Fisher equation which is used by economists to anticipate the state of prices if GDP changes. I think usage of this equation is not topical in our life.

Dissemination Seminar in Florence

31 October 2015 The seminar has been held in ITIS “A. Meucci” one of the schools involved within Goerudio project activities. Its main aim was to promote the results of the project toward a broad sample of stakeholders even overcrossing the number of people directly involved in the production of project outcomes. This purpose has been totally achieved especially thanks to the participation of students and teachers coming from different schools or from other classes instead of those ones directly involved within the project activities.
