Description of the Experience
My school announced the second edition of a photo contest for students who are passionate about photography and want to creatively express their interest in their own city, this time under the title "Łodź in literature and film."
I started this task with great joy and commitment, wanting to express the creative vision on my "little homeland" with its indigenous characters from literature and film influences and events.
During the Festival of Kinetic Art of Light “Light. Move. Festival", held in Piotrkowska Street, at Liberty Square, in Old Town Park and in the Old Town Market, I made a few photos documenting the event. I used the images to create a collage, for the above mentioned competition.
To develop my work I used the following image editing programmes such as:
Adobe Photoshop, which is a powerful graphics programme designed for creating and processing raster graphics, being the flagship product of Adobe Systems, and GIMP which is a free counterpart of Photoshop. It works on Linux, Mac OS, Windows, AmigaOS4.xa and is distributed under GNU GPL license.
These programmes allow: painting, removing the images from background (cutting), removing objects from images (cloning), changing the size and perspective and rotation of images, making various operations on colors, combining images with layers / masks and converting various image file formats.

Additionally, during the image processing and creating the collage, and for inserting a fragment of a poem by Julian Tuwim I used a free online photo editor piZap.com. This editor offers more than 1,000 fun collage opportunities that allow you to quickly and easily create interesting layouts. After adding the photos you can add effects and filters, frames, as well as colorful stickers. Collages are the most popular feature of piZap.
Fun with piZapping, Adobe Photoshop and GIMP allows me to be creative which gives the opportunity to develop in creative way!

Dissemination Seminar in Florence

31 October 2015 The seminar has been held in ITIS “A. Meucci” one of the schools involved within Goerudio project activities. Its main aim was to promote the results of the project toward a broad sample of stakeholders even overcrossing the number of people directly involved in the production of project outcomes. This purpose has been totally achieved especially thanks to the participation of students and teachers coming from different schools or from other classes instead of those ones directly involved within the project activities.
