Description of the Experience
On a visit to the museum they explained us that the sound needed a medium for transmission. I knew the sound was slower than light speed.
They did an experiment and put an alarm clock that was ringing in a container. They closed the container and absorbed all the air creating a vacuum. We saw how the alarm sounded weaker and weaker until it stopped be heard. They explained that we heard no sound because there was no air to transmit sound waves. They opened the container and found that the alarm was sounded yet. It was surprising.

Dissemination Seminar in Florence

31 October 2015 The seminar has been held in ITIS “A. Meucci” one of the schools involved within Goerudio project activities. Its main aim was to promote the results of the project toward a broad sample of stakeholders even overcrossing the number of people directly involved in the production of project outcomes. This purpose has been totally achieved especially thanks to the participation of students and teachers coming from different schools or from other classes instead of those ones directly involved within the project activities.
