Description of the Experience
We put some mushrooms in water with a paper we collect spores. The mushrooms were opened and dropped a brown powder which when inserted into a slide were small brown pellets. The teacher explained that the fungal spores were, that served to reproduce and told us that if we picked mushrooms from the mountain we had to cut them and bring them in baskets to allow the spores to fall throughout the forest. We also took a bit of the base of the mushroom and saw part of the hyphae and mycelium.
The observation of fungal spores and hyphae has helped me to see things I had not seen and had explained in class.

Dissemination Seminar in Florence

31 October 2015 The seminar has been held in ITIS “A. Meucci” one of the schools involved within Goerudio project activities. Its main aim was to promote the results of the project toward a broad sample of stakeholders even overcrossing the number of people directly involved in the production of project outcomes. This purpose has been totally achieved especially thanks to the participation of students and teachers coming from different schools or from other classes instead of those ones directly involved within the project activities.
