Description of the Experience
Main topic of the class was stereometry. We were learning about solids that are a part of mathematics. They are also everywhere around us! I met with the same topic in the elementary school as well but somehow I forgot it already. It was not news to learn that solids are everywhere around us and that we work with them. This definitely helped me when I was solving examples because I could imagine the solid or a specific value of it in a more real way. I enjoyed the class a lot because we were even joking and laughing together with the teacher. The lesson was good and relaxed. I would not want to change anything on it, maybe only that there are more of such relaxed classes, not only those about examples and calculating. The teacher gave us a presentation task and we liked it a lot.

Dissemination Seminar in Florence

31 October 2015 The seminar has been held in ITIS “A. Meucci” one of the schools involved within Goerudio project activities. Its main aim was to promote the results of the project toward a broad sample of stakeholders even overcrossing the number of people directly involved in the production of project outcomes. This purpose has been totally achieved especially thanks to the participation of students and teachers coming from different schools or from other classes instead of those ones directly involved within the project activities.
