Description of the Experience
Involution at the level of primary school seems to be a simple operation. At the first lesson on involution our teacher showed us number 2 to power. It was a set of cubes and cuboids in white, green and yellow colour. It was a Montessorian help – our teacher often uses such teaching sources. We started with a number 2 cube, that is cube with sizes 2cm on 2cm to 2cm. The teacher said: "This is a cube of number 2". Next, we have put another rectangular cubes that was established 2 to the power 4 – that is 16 blocks. Then we add the next rectangular cubes until we developed the following powers of 2 - ending at 2 to the power 10.
Classes were difficult and easy at the same time. Because you can see everything, but we're talking about arithmetics.

Dissemination Seminar in Florence

31 October 2015 The seminar has been held in ITIS “A. Meucci” one of the schools involved within Goerudio project activities. Its main aim was to promote the results of the project toward a broad sample of stakeholders even overcrossing the number of people directly involved in the production of project outcomes. This purpose has been totally achieved especially thanks to the participation of students and teachers coming from different schools or from other classes instead of those ones directly involved within the project activities.
