Description of the Experience
When we learned about salts and made experiments I did not understand why silver chloride darkens on exposure to light. My teacher explained that during the irradiation silver chloride dissolute to silver (metal) and chlorate in the simple equation: 2 AgCl ---> 2 Ag + Cl2 The obtained silver is in the form of colloidal particles (colloidal silver), which has the ability to reflect the part of the spectrum of visible light, namely, the dark blue-purple part. Therefore, the precipitate of silver chloride becomes pale lilac.

Dissemination Seminar in Florence

31 October 2015 The seminar has been held in ITIS “A. Meucci” one of the schools involved within Goerudio project activities. Its main aim was to promote the results of the project toward a broad sample of stakeholders even overcrossing the number of people directly involved in the production of project outcomes. This purpose has been totally achieved especially thanks to the participation of students and teachers coming from different schools or from other classes instead of those ones directly involved within the project activities.
