Description of the Experience
Lessons in Biology for were very difficult me because I could not understand anything taught in class. I told our teacher that I have a problem and she started somehow to illustrate lessons in class. She started using pictures, models, making reconstructions of the processes that we study and so I began to understand and see the concepts. This caused some interest in me and learning became easier for me. For example, I was able to understand the rule of complementarity of the bases by using a model of double-stranded DNA. The types of connections between chains were made with different color and this clearly showed the connections between bases.

Dissemination Seminar in Florence

31 October 2015 The seminar has been held in ITIS “A. Meucci” one of the schools involved within Goerudio project activities. Its main aim was to promote the results of the project toward a broad sample of stakeholders even overcrossing the number of people directly involved in the production of project outcomes. This purpose has been totally achieved especially thanks to the participation of students and teachers coming from different schools or from other classes instead of those ones directly involved within the project activities.
