Description of the Experience
I asked the teacher how we understand how many electrons and electron pairs are in an element. Is there a chart for that “miracle”. She said that this "miracle" is defined by the location of the element in the periodic table. The number of electrons in the outer layer of the electronic components of the group A is equal to the group number in which the element is located. A breakdown is such: Group 1A - 1 electron 2A group - two electrons in an electron pair, group 3A - 3 electrons, two paired and one single, 4A group - two pairs and two singles, 5A g - two pairs and three singles, 6A Group - two pairs and two singles, 7A group - three doubles and one single. This distribution has an explanation of the construction of the electron shell of the atom, but at a higher level. For the purposes of chemical bond in Grade 8 electron distribution should be construed as logic and is the place of elements in the group.

Dissemination Seminar in Florence

31 October 2015 The seminar has been held in ITIS “A. Meucci” one of the schools involved within Goerudio project activities. Its main aim was to promote the results of the project toward a broad sample of stakeholders even overcrossing the number of people directly involved in the production of project outcomes. This purpose has been totally achieved especially thanks to the participation of students and teachers coming from different schools or from other classes instead of those ones directly involved within the project activities.
