Description of the Experience
I've always followed with particular involvement about the various experiments shown in class because I'm a curious and interested boy. I noticed during one series of experiments that my beliefs about how the light is reflected in mirrors were definitely confused and inaccurate. So, thanks to some experiments with curved mirrors performed by teacher Amato, I could concretely understand the difference between real and virtual images. A lot of other experiments are revealed interesting through the performance of various problems and with the exemplification of various empirical procedures I could understand how we explain various optical phenomena. This knowledge has been a pleasant surprise for me because it also challenged my beliefs I thought was right, but obviously they were not.

Dissemination Seminar in Florence

31 October 2015 The seminar has been held in ITIS “A. Meucci” one of the schools involved within Goerudio project activities. Its main aim was to promote the results of the project toward a broad sample of stakeholders even overcrossing the number of people directly involved in the production of project outcomes. This purpose has been totally achieved especially thanks to the participation of students and teachers coming from different schools or from other classes instead of those ones directly involved within the project activities.
