Description of the Experience
In third grade I dealt with a topic: the parable. Initially I did not like it very much because I tohought it too complicated, a boring and obnoxious subject, but then by practicing and understanding what I could learn from the subject I began to like it. We spent hours and hours doing parables, I did not get tired, it was the first topic that it was easy for me to deal with. If I remember correctly, I even took a good mark. I liked doing the parables for the simple reason that it was nice to see Math from a different point of view. I like to do a lot of calculations, because I believe that mathematics is the only subject that broadens the mind and allows us to truly think. See that from an equation with all the calculations you could bring everything in a Cartesian plane was fantastic, above all I had the satisfaction of being able to make a beautiful and precise design of a parabola.

Dissemination Seminar in Florence

31 October 2015 The seminar has been held in ITIS “A. Meucci” one of the schools involved within Goerudio project activities. Its main aim was to promote the results of the project toward a broad sample of stakeholders even overcrossing the number of people directly involved in the production of project outcomes. This purpose has been totally achieved especially thanks to the participation of students and teachers coming from different schools or from other classes instead of those ones directly involved within the project activities.
