Description of the Experience
I think science is difficult if you don’t understand the teacher’s explanations. Personally I liked the experience we had when we calculated our Ecological Footprint. I remember we had to answer a questionnaire first related to our consumption/ use of water/ food/ transport/ shelter/ energy/ clothes and electrical appliances. This raised our awareness about our consumption or use of energy. We also learned how to calculate our footprint. It was amazing how much CO2 we could produce. We discussed all these issues and suggested ways to reduce the size of our footprint. When we did the questionnaire again our footprint was much better.

Dissemination Seminar in Florence

31 October 2015 The seminar has been held in ITIS “A. Meucci” one of the schools involved within Goerudio project activities. Its main aim was to promote the results of the project toward a broad sample of stakeholders even overcrossing the number of people directly involved in the production of project outcomes. This purpose has been totally achieved especially thanks to the participation of students and teachers coming from different schools or from other classes instead of those ones directly involved within the project activities.
