Students are divided into groups of 4-5 members, depending on the number of participants and workloads are presented inspired by everyday life. Workloads based on matrices and determinants: calories provided by a diet, composition of active elements a recipe, case sales of three categories of products in several cities and shops, and more.
Each group will produce a product on previously task established that it will be the real model description, identification mathematical model, solving the mathematical model, interpretation of the results.
Products are displayed on classroom walls in the form of sheet A1.
The groups’ leader shall report to the all students the group made product.
Students analyse all the work, identifies common elements of theoretical approaches, real models, peculiarities and review their own products compared to others.

I have also found this activity very useful for my students. Their work is displayed on the classroom walls and they have to present it to their colleagues. They also have to answer their colleagues' comments and suggestions.
It requires a lot of preparation and responsibility.

Dissemination Seminar in Florence

31 October 2015 The seminar has been held in ITIS “A. Meucci” one of the schools involved within Goerudio project activities. Its main aim was to promote the results of the project toward a broad sample of stakeholders even overcrossing the number of people directly involved in the production of project outcomes. This purpose has been totally achieved especially thanks to the participation of students and teachers coming from different schools or from other classes instead of those ones directly involved within the project activities.
