Description of the Experience
I compare the mathematical notions, terms with everyday items wherever it is possible. For example, the students do not understand the notion of natural numbers. But when they are told that if you can add the word 'cow'after the number , it is natural. In this case they understood the notion of natural numbers.The students do not understand the equation sinx +sinx=2sinx, many of them write the following equation sinx+sinx=sin2x, but comparing sinx+sinx with berries we get the equation 1 berry +1 berry=2 berries . According to the students' statements they remember these notions for life after attending the courses of mathematics.

Dissemination Seminar in Florence

31 October 2015 The seminar has been held in ITIS “A. Meucci” one of the schools involved within Goerudio project activities. Its main aim was to promote the results of the project toward a broad sample of stakeholders even overcrossing the number of people directly involved in the production of project outcomes. This purpose has been totally achieved especially thanks to the participation of students and teachers coming from different schools or from other classes instead of those ones directly involved within the project activities.
