Description of the Experience
I always try to prepare an interesting lesson, that is why I organize different trips to companies for the workshops. In Lower Secondary School I organize a tour to ESKA radio station, where students can see how the radio station and broadcasting work. During our visit radio employees show hardware, recording studio and we can understand the job of a radio worker. We cooperate very closely with University of Computer Sciences and Skills, which is equipped with audiovisual studio and hardware needed to record audio and video. We organize a visit of this studio, where students can see hardware and the recording studio. Next time we visit the place, students can record their voices and text in the special soundproof room, next we sit in front of the computers and start modifying records. We share records for tracks and we add special effects. Students can see how analog and digital mixer works. Thanks to this kind of lessons students create audio tracks or movies with pleasure. For example one of my students has created a movie “One day in ABiS” to promote our school. As part of “I’ve got a hook on cancer” project was creating radio spot. I, Katarzyna Karpowicz – teacher of biology and students used this hardware to record and modify the recording into a radio spot which was carefully prepared and sent. Students like this kind of activities and look forward to them.

Dissemination Seminar in Florence

31 October 2015 The seminar has been held in ITIS “A. Meucci” one of the schools involved within Goerudio project activities. Its main aim was to promote the results of the project toward a broad sample of stakeholders even overcrossing the number of people directly involved in the production of project outcomes. This purpose has been totally achieved especially thanks to the participation of students and teachers coming from different schools or from other classes instead of those ones directly involved within the project activities.
