Description of the Experience
During the implementation of topic of paper and its production because of the lack of technical possibility of implementation at school I take my students for workshops organized at the Museum of Paper and Printing at the Technical University of Lodz. During the workshops, children learn the origins of the paper, the ingredients necessary for its manufacture, and they form the paper mass from cellulose pulp, wasted paper, glue and other additives (hair, torn money, silk thread, bran) in a large amount of water. Then they draw the paper, put it at cloth, dry and smooth. They also learn the woodcut technique and make a graphic woodcut print of the creator of paper Tsai Luna. They take home all the works created. After the workshops they fill in the work sheet for the examination of knowledge. The same exercise at the end of the semester and the analysis shows that the knowledge gained in this way is more comprehensive and more durable.

Dissemination Seminar in Florence

31 October 2015 The seminar has been held in ITIS “A. Meucci” one of the schools involved within Goerudio project activities. Its main aim was to promote the results of the project toward a broad sample of stakeholders even overcrossing the number of people directly involved in the production of project outcomes. This purpose has been totally achieved especially thanks to the participation of students and teachers coming from different schools or from other classes instead of those ones directly involved within the project activities.
