Institute of Wood Chemistry (IWC) is the leading wood research center in Latvia. Founded in 1946.
Institute of Wood Chemistry under the supervision of the national research institute, which operates under the adopted "Law on Scientific Activity" of 5 May 2005, the amendments to the 05.07.2007 and "derived public persons" Latvian State of wood chemistry Institute "" Rules.
Mission of the IWC - a scientifically based, eco-friendly low-waste technologies for competitive materials and products from wood and other biomass.

Dissemination Seminar in Florence

31 October 2015 The seminar has been held in ITIS “A. Meucci” one of the schools involved within Goerudio project activities. Its main aim was to promote the results of the project toward a broad sample of stakeholders even overcrossing the number of people directly involved in the production of project outcomes. This purpose has been totally achieved especially thanks to the participation of students and teachers coming from different schools or from other classes instead of those ones directly involved within the project activities.
