More Information
E-handbooks for general education is a project run by the Centre for Education Development. It is constantly developed and the database of handbooks is extended by new materials. The website of the project is http://www.epodreczniki.pl/front/. The educational resources are divided into age categories/school typology: primary school (classes 1-3, 4-6), lower secondary schools and upper secondary schools.
Each handbook is available online and it is possible to download the file. Here is the example handbook on mathematics 4th grade of primary school (http://www.epodreczniki.pl/front/details/18131/1). Each handbook contains introduction, explanations of the materials and interactive exercises.
It could be used as supplementary didactic material. There are also guides how to use e-learning materials. This programme is supported by the Ministry of National Education.
Teachers’ Opinion
Initiative to create a database of e-textbooks for schools is a good idea. At this moment, textbooks are in the test version. They have to be ready at the beginning of the next school year 2015/16. Project website is visually appealing. It is difficult to assess the content of resources. It would be good if it will be also possible to conduct tests / exams through e-learning platform.
Students’ Opinion
The website looks very good. It is easy to navigate. Manuals in electronic form that would be easier. We would not have to carry so many books to school. It could have the option to add multimedia (e.g. videos), which would facilitate learning.

Dissemination Seminar in Florence

31 October 2015 The seminar has been held in ITIS “A. Meucci” one of the schools involved within Goerudio project activities. Its main aim was to promote the results of the project toward a broad sample of stakeholders even overcrossing the number of people directly involved in the production of project outcomes. This purpose has been totally achieved especially thanks to the participation of students and teachers coming from different schools or from other classes instead of those ones directly involved within the project activities.
