Description of the initiative
MAPPTIPE - Multimedia Application for Creating Internet Educational Presentations. It is a response to a significant lack in Polish education system: the lack of a large collection of multimedia educational materials, organized in a clear structure and contained in the form of more or less uniform. This application also has the support of teachers and lecturers in the preparation of classes in a more interesting, more convenient and easier to implement.
Project results:
1) Program entitled "Teaching by Multimedia", understood as a description of the ways and methods of using tools MAPTTIPE by teachers in the teaching of mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, computer science, entrepreneurship, as well as by students in the process of self-education and supplement knowledge, in accordance with the implementation of the method "learning by doing "
2) Application MAPPTIPE - an innovative tool, developed on the basis of experience of teachers, external experts and suggestions from the students themselves.
The program will take into account the use of MAPTIPPE and multimedia at all educational projects as a tool for creating forms of presentation design (particularly in secondary schools).
More Information
MAPPTIPE portal contains valuable teaching materials. This is innovative tool for creating multimedia learning needs. On the website you can find the e-learning courses for teachers on the creation of multimedia presentations, including the processing of audio, video, photographs, copyright (http://media.edukator.pl/szkolenia/). The website also includes a guide for teachers on using multimedia teaching http://pliki.edukator.pl/rekrutacja/Mapptipe_PROGRAM.pdf
Students and teachers publish their presentations developed in the field of biology, chemistry and other scientific issues: http://edukator.pl/index.php/user/presSearch
Teachers’ Opinion
Presentations facilitate the process of teaching. If you combine written information with image and sounds it attracts the attention of students and helps them to memorize the knowledge. This programme is well developed and helpful in terms of developing multimedia for science lessons.
Students’ Opinion
We like creating presentations. We can show them to our colleagues in the classroom. It's a good way to learn science and other subjects. There are a lot of tools that make it easy to create presentations and making movies.

In my teachiing I also try to engage students and give them tasks to prepare presentation using Powerpoint. In case of this tool there are problems to open the guide for teachers: http://pliki.edukator.pl/rekrutacja/Mapptipe_PROGRAM.pdf. There similar applications such as Animoto to prepare the presentations with multimedia.

Dissemination Seminar in Florence

31 October 2015 The seminar has been held in ITIS “A. Meucci” one of the schools involved within Goerudio project activities. Its main aim was to promote the results of the project toward a broad sample of stakeholders even overcrossing the number of people directly involved in the production of project outcomes. This purpose has been totally achieved especially thanks to the participation of students and teachers coming from different schools or from other classes instead of those ones directly involved within the project activities.
