Description of the initiative
The aim of the educational package is a summary of observations known to students from everyday life with the concepts of chemical representation of the relationship between chemistry taught in school and used practically in everyday life.
Presented program allows the teacher to develop such a method of teaching, which not only realize the aims of education, but students interested in chemistry. Therefore, the teaching methods are preferred active work with students: discussion, problem solving, visualization of the processes and practical problems. The use of the process of teaching a variety of sources of information, the introduction of methods of project "from concept to product" inspire students to work independently and arouse students' interest in learning chemistry at the next stage of education.

The final product: The curriculum and methodology of teaching chemistry at the secondary school level. The solution provides for the introduction of innovative materials and techniques based on computer methods. The final product is:
1) The reformed teaching chemistry in secondary school educational stage IV - basic level.
2) The reformed teaching chemistry in secondary school educational stage IV - extended level.
3) Internet platform - containing all the components of the final product and serves as an e-tutor and the role of e-methodology.
4) CD-ROM containing materials for students and teachers.
More Information
The Young Chemist website is a rich resource for teaching materials for teachers and learning aids for students. To take advantage of the resources user should create an account and log in: http://www.mlodychemik.pr.radom.pl/index.php?option=com_user&view=login
Teachers will find there chemistry curriculum in line with the core curriculum, lesson plans, multimedia presentations. Students can find materials that will help in learning chemistry and help them understand the issues of chemistry. There are demonstrations, animations, e-tutor (online advice).
Teachers’ Opinion
A good way to encourage students to learn chemistry. Applying projects will inspire students to work independently and awake interest in learning chemistry at next stages of education. Interesting scenarios of experience. The whole e-learning environment developed very professionally.
Students’ Opinion
The project has a nice website. Learning materials on chemistry are interesting. Computer animation are cool. It is a pity that in our school there is no such equipment in the lab.

This web side is relevant for me as chemistry teacher especially that I can find relevant teaching methods focusing on active teaching methods what is not very typical in Slovakia where teachers to time prefer traditional teaching. What is very relevant this teaching can overcome students lack of motivation to study chemistry. For me is very useful that this methodology is focusing on secondary schools level and for innovative materials based on computer teaching methodology in chemistry teaching. I plan in my teaching use some of this materials in topics in which I can use white board, internet and other ICT in chemistry teaching.

Dissemination Seminar in Florence

31 October 2015 The seminar has been held in ITIS “A. Meucci” one of the schools involved within Goerudio project activities. Its main aim was to promote the results of the project toward a broad sample of stakeholders even overcrossing the number of people directly involved in the production of project outcomes. This purpose has been totally achieved especially thanks to the participation of students and teachers coming from different schools or from other classes instead of those ones directly involved within the project activities.
