Description of the initiative
The overall objective of the project is to increase lower and upper secondary students' interest in continuation of the education in the fields of key importance for the knowledge-based economy through the development of innovative curricula of physics based on a simple physical experiment.
The final product 4 in physics curricula for middle school, secondary school at the primary level, secondary school at the advanced level and vocational school program and extracurricular activities with nature and ecology for secondary schools. The final product consists of:
1) Lesson plans containing a description of activities along with the experience.
2) The book of experience "physics experiments", containing a description of more than 100 experiments, theoretical introduction, explaining the key concepts and definitions;
3) Movies & Television on DVD, with the most interesting physical experiments with commentary;
4) e-learning platform: efizyka.uni.opole.pl containing product in electronic form and a discussion forum for students and teachers: "Ask the expert".
More Information
The project Physics in experiments developed materials for teaching physics. The resources include handbook (http://fizyka.uni.opole.pl/efizyka/ksiazka.pdf). The publication is divided into 14 topics, a.o. .: Thermodynamics in the human environment; Electromagnetic waves, optics; The inertia of the body; Freely falling bodies, weightlessness. Each chapter contains an introduction to the topic and descriptions of experiments. The publication contains diagrams, drawings or photos showing how to perform an experiment.
The portal also contains videos of physics and science experiments showing phenomena and (http://fizyka.uni.opole.pl/efizyka/filmy/filmy.html). They are divided into themes: NATURE AND ECOLOGY; MECHANICS AND STRUCTURE OF MATTER; Hydrostatics, ATMOSPHERIC PRESSURE; ELECTRICITY AND MAGNETISM, Optics; MECHANICAL VIBRATIONS AND WAVES; THERMODYNAMICS, WORK, POWER, POWER
In addition, curriculum in physics education have been developed at different levels, eg. High school (http://fizyka.uni.opole.pl/efizyka/gimnazjum/Program_nauczania_GIMNAZJUM.pdf)
and lesson plans to each curriculum http://fizyka.uni.opole.pl/efizyka/gimnazjum/scenariusze/list_gimnazjum.html
Teachers’ Opinion
The portal contains comprehensive didactic materials to study physics at school based on the use of experiments. For each programme lesson plans were developed. There are educational resources for teachers worth recommending for physics and natural sciences teachers at different levels. Resources are well documented and easily accessible.
Students’ Opinion
Interesting materials. The book vividly shows a variety of topics in the field of physics. There are plenty of diagrams and images, making it easy to understand. You can also watch videos of experiments. Project site is clear and materials may be useful in learning physics.

This initiative consist interesting video and visual materials. It contains very helpfull handbook about lot of physic topics. Biggest problem is language, because it is polish and work only in national level. Method could translate to other languages.

Dissemination Seminar in Florence

31 October 2015 The seminar has been held in ITIS “A. Meucci” one of the schools involved within Goerudio project activities. Its main aim was to promote the results of the project toward a broad sample of stakeholders even overcrossing the number of people directly involved in the production of project outcomes. This purpose has been totally achieved especially thanks to the participation of students and teachers coming from different schools or from other classes instead of those ones directly involved within the project activities.
