Description of the initiative
"Teacher at home" is the educational portal of the Generalitat Valenciana. It is a collaborative online environment where students, parents and teachers share ideas, collaborate on common projects and access a wide variety of educational resources aimed at Primary, Secondary and Baccalaureate students.
The different services that this site offers are divided into a public area and a private one, the latter reserved for access by user ID.
The public area of this website, accessible to the entire educational community, provides access to online educational resources of the various curricular areas, classified by levels and areas of curriculum. It also offers spaces of interest to teachers, students and families, as well as useful pedagogical information, news related to the field of education, useful links that provide additional resources and learning experiences, links to websites of other education authorities ...
In the private area of the educational portal the access is rectricted to the members of the educational community, encouraging the creation of collaborative groups.
The aim of this educational portal is to achieve a classroom without barriers, to everyone, that facilitates the processes of teaching and learning and to get a source of resources and information to the educational community, teachers, students, families and citizens in general .

This educational portal has a wide variety of resources available for all levels of education (Kindergarten, Primary, Secondary and Vocational Education). These resources consist of teaching units, presentations, multiple interactive activities, animations, games, practices ... which are grouped by subjects in each level. The materials are of high quality and varied. To access to them is very easy because there is an access to them using the map of the web or through a search engine.
Moreover, the web allows the access to the latest information and news of the website, provide manuals and guides, blogs, wikis, links to educational websites of other communities and other links.

Therefore, this website is a great resource to facilitate the teaching-learning, strengthen curriculum content and allow access to all kinds of information and news of pedagogical usefulness.

The website provides lesson plans and resources to support the contents in classes, allowing access to a large number of varied interactive activities, animations, links ...
This type of interactive activities are very useful because promote student motivation, enabling better reinforce the knowledge adquired and encouraging them to develop competences.
Students’ Opinion
We like this website because the activities are funnier than the activities of the class book and we can repeat them at home. We can also choose the subject that we need to review.

Dissemination Seminar in Florence

31 October 2015 The seminar has been held in ITIS “A. Meucci” one of the schools involved within Goerudio project activities. Its main aim was to promote the results of the project toward a broad sample of stakeholders even overcrossing the number of people directly involved in the production of project outcomes. This purpose has been totally achieved especially thanks to the participation of students and teachers coming from different schools or from other classes instead of those ones directly involved within the project activities.
