More Information
Mobile devices provide a tool that can be used for educational purposes. They are tools that students use in their daily lives and therefore they are very close to them. The project explores these possibilities in the context of vocational training although this can be transferred to the learning of science. The most interesting of project for science teachers are the results: http://m-learning-ict.blogspot.com.es/p/partners.html
Here are several links "M-learning in the methodology of e-learning" and documents best practices developed by the partners of Spain and Portugal.
Definitely mobile devices are an interesting tool but its use should support the teaching-learning methodology.
Teachers’ Opinion
In vocational training, the use of mobiles in our classes could be very useful in many ways. In the case of programming matters, it's more attractive for the labour market when the applicant knows how to implement an application to run in a mobile. The student knows this question and he is more interested on improve his knowledge and skills in this field. At the same time, this is an easy way to test applications in a real context. When you have a classroom with different brands and models, you're dealing with a real situation where you be able to show failures in the implementation.
Students’ Opinion
Using mobiles can be very exciting for the students because they can for example look up different solutions for the same question with their own tool., they don't need any special or complex laboratory. Also, the more they use the phone in the classroom, the more they consider it not just a toy; they start to think about it as a powerful educational tool. In many ways, they can change addictive behaviors into a normal attitudes.

Dissemination Seminar in Florence

31 October 2015 The seminar has been held in ITIS “A. Meucci” one of the schools involved within Goerudio project activities. Its main aim was to promote the results of the project toward a broad sample of stakeholders even overcrossing the number of people directly involved in the production of project outcomes. This purpose has been totally achieved especially thanks to the participation of students and teachers coming from different schools or from other classes instead of those ones directly involved within the project activities.
