The context
K.I.S.S. the I.C.T. is a project for developing Key competences In our Special Schools, through an Innovative and Creative Training. The development of Key Competences is our basic goal. We would like to create a partnership and a school consortium within the reference framework of Lisbon 2010. That's why educative systems and professional teacher development basically need to be adapted to new knowledge requests in the European society, concerning a permanent learning approach for life. During the project we will analyze our different and real situations in each school and countries.

The aims
Our idea is to create an action plan and implementation for the integration of the Basic Competences in each curriculo, especially focusing on competences in Foreign Languages, Mathematics, Science and Technology, Learning to Learn, Digital and Intercultural and Social awareness. Our activities will also be connected to the European Year of Creativity and Innovation, developing the triangle of knowledge, Education-Research-Innovation and the educational triangle of Equity-Effectiveness-and Inclusion. All the activities will have to involve directly teachers, families, students and all the operators connected to formal and informal education associations. The project will contribute to create a real European Dimension pass through this way, where multilinguism is not an obstacle but resource for everybody.
The results achieved
The topic we chose to work on is :" A green planet: It´s up to you". In relationship with this project 4 mini projects have been developed: - Water and life - Sustainable development )Do I consume wisely? - Climate and lifestyles - Our region, our culture, our environment. The works done by teachers and students alike, were presented in each meeting so that all the countries could learn from each other. This information is available in the wiki page ‘agreenplanet’.

Is a initiative that pretends to integrate the basic competences in our curriculum. Especially the foreign language and scientific areas. The project develop a wiki web page with all the contents of the project: http://agreenplanet.wikispaces.com/

This project is interesting because the files repository contents information of many areas. From songs, like contratulation in Italian language (http://agreenplanet.wikispaces.com/file/detail/2%20FELICITA.pdf) since presentations done by students: http://agreenplanet.wikispaces.com/file/detail/Black-Forest-Geography.ppt. All is available with many pictures and other type of files that you can use in other works.

The lyric of the songs of the project are the most interesting. It allows you to sing the songs that you know the music without invent the lyrics. Especially the italian songs are the best, because for a spaniard are the easier to sing.
