Description of the initiative
- The context
All Institutions in the partnership work with adult education. The idea of a project considering natural sciences seemed very good idea considering specifically four main areas in which we intent to act: Community; intergenerational relations; gender and ICT. Community because we want to open the doors of our work and make it available to the community living around us. Natural Sciences is the perfect aim for captivate new learners and explore realities around us and show them to the community. Natural Sciences is a "world" to explore to make all understant what surronds us. Intergenerational relations are a path to relate adult learners with children and young people and make profitable relations and atmospheres, considering the adults knowledge and life experience in opposite with children’s knowledge. We will use this to relate with ICT on which young people are "experts" and old people most of the time are curious
- The activities

Enhancing the Learning Community,
Fostering intergenerational relationships,
Promote gender relations.
- The results achieved
A website where project results are disseminated.
Newsletters which include information on the activities carried out in the project.
More Information
The project stems from a good idea and potentially there are resources to gather and use to fulfill a initiative to be applied in classes. However the useful information is scarce and spread across several websites from their partners. The main project website holds the complete set of links to the project activities
http://www.montesca.it/natursal/download/SustainableDevelopment.pdf
http://www.montesca.it/natursal/download/Natur(s)_ALSustainabledevelopment.ppt

The section http://www.montesca.it/natursal/natursalineu.asp has the complete list of links to activities developed by each partner

And some partners and related websiters have specific information, mainly the montseca main page e-learnign area:
http://www.montesca.it/LearningSpace.asp
Teachers’ Opinion
The usefulness of this project is very limited. The resulting products and documentation do not contain many didactical resources to re-use in the future. The activities carried on seem to be very interesting and the knowledge that could be taught from them is interesting had it been transformed into documents. The main value of this project is the idea itself whe
Students’ Opinion
The basics of this project is quite like any outdoor activity, but with the requirement of learning something from the environment or wildlife. Overall, It makes sense to learn something from outdoor activities, not just fun while not being in the classroom. That's why the project is good.

Dissemination Seminar in Florence

31 October 2015 The seminar has been held in ITIS “A. Meucci” one of the schools involved within Goerudio project activities. Its main aim was to promote the results of the project toward a broad sample of stakeholders even overcrossing the number of people directly involved in the production of project outcomes. This purpose has been totally achieved especially thanks to the participation of students and teachers coming from different schools or from other classes instead of those ones directly involved within the project activities.
