The aim of the Infovek Project in English InfoAge Project is to prepare the young generation in Slovakia for life in the information society of 21st century in order to prove competent in the knowledge economy, to create the preconditions for our young generation to be competitive on the forming global labour market, especially in comparison with the young people of the same age from the European Union. School is the most important place where this transformation must take place. In order to be able to provide for this hard task, the school must change itself from a traditional school to a modern school of the third millennium through the information and communication technologies.
The project concept stands on the following four pillars:
• Equipe every elementary and secondary schools (state, church or private) in Slovakia with a multimedia classroom with high quality Internet access
• Development of a modern education curricula for general and specialised subjects at all types of schools
• Training of tens of thousands of teachers in integrating modern information and communication technologies and their application into education
• Building information society providing Infovek classrooms to the local community for the development of the digital literacy of the inhabitants of all regions in Slovakia in the time they are not used by the school for the purpose of life long learning and education

Teachers’ Opinion
INFOAGE
• a very important project for Slovakia
• provision of information and communication technologies for primary and secondary schools across the country
• necessary change from traditional to modern schools
• a change in the curriculum of general-education and vocational subjects
• important preparation of young people for a new way of life - ways of teaching, learning, information search, preparation to practice (study, work) - orientation in any direction ..... possibilities through digital technologies
• integration into the European and global trends in the use of IT technologies
For teaching Physics at secondary schools is means very important progress - multimedia textbook of Physics, educational websites - another way of teaching - more interesting, more visual, motivating students. More durable, perceptual knowledge.
ICT also used for making compulsory school documentation (e.g. E-Class book Class book ....)
Knowledge - weakness
- Digital technologies can cause dependence on their use (not the learning dependence)

Students Review

Strengths:
• it is providing training for teachers who pass on their knowledge to students
• it prepares students for 21st century technology
• preparation of students for practical life
Education through digital content is at present more attractive for students and more interesting.
Information and communication technologies are widely used in most subjects.
Students’ Opinion
• I am glad that I can connect to Wi-Fi network at school - to send messages to my classmates through social networks, to check the arrivals/departures of public transportation, to find out what is the next day's schedule, etc. – I consider this as the strengths of Infoage, thanks which we have Wi-Fi connection at school
• Project Infoage, we talked it with our Informatics teacher, it helped the school with informatics technology, and the school received free computers and various educational CDs
• Educational CDs are suitable for teaching/learning many subjects. I think that mostly for the general educational subjects such as Mathematics, Physics, Slovak language, foreign languages, History, Ethics, as well as Religion.
• Using the products of the project, the work of students improves, knowledge can be more durable.

Dissemination Seminar in Florence

31 October 2015 The seminar has been held in ITIS “A. Meucci” one of the schools involved within Goerudio project activities. Its main aim was to promote the results of the project toward a broad sample of stakeholders even overcrossing the number of people directly involved in the production of project outcomes. This purpose has been totally achieved especially thanks to the participation of students and teachers coming from different schools or from other classes instead of those ones directly involved within the project activities.
