Description of the initiative
Naučteviac.sk - modern educational portal for teachers includes more than 50,000 interactive educational materials. It offers to teachers several online tools for easy retrieval of materials, preparation of teaching materials for lessons, creating tasks and homework for pupils and their control. Naučteviac.sk includes educational materials for mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, natural science, English and computer science for grammar and high schools. The new content includes the materials for kindergarten and first grade of primary schools. The materials are updated into the education portal continuously and supplemented on regular basis. Teachers can quickly and easily search in the materials using keywords and other tools. With the use of the portal they create lesson plans using the digital content of the portal, as well as their own material in the form of files and web pages. They also have the option of entering students’ tasks and monitor their solutions and results. Educational materials are available in our e-commerce in cost-effective packages or there is an option of buying a credit to unlock resources of an own choice. School-wide license price starts from € 10 / month with the option of a lump sum payment or payment by months.

Teachers’ Opinion
Learning portal is designed for teachers of kindergartens, primary and secondary schools. The disadvantage for teacher is the fact that the site is commercial. In today's situation, school leadership is considering use of any monetary amount. The strength of the project is complying with the rules for didactic working with the text (its objectives, content and performance standards, competencies, which are divided into input and output for each content). Within the teaching of Mathematics I would like this site, I could use it for each stage of the learning process and if it would be possible to work with students in a computer classroom I would use it for different teaching.
Personally, I would recommended it for use in consultations for students who were absent for a longer time.
I think the site is also suitable for self-study according to the material processing and availability of videos.
