Description of the initiative
Project goal: To improve the Riga State Technical School (RSTS) and elsewhere in the Latvia implemented vocational training program - printing and publishing, chemical engineering and energy - the quality, promoting successful learning, balanced competencies and skills. The target group is the RSTS students and educators, as well as other Latvian vocational educational institutions and educators. Main activities: training materials, practical training and practice providing advisory support to vocational and other skills development, e-learning environment, solution development and implementation of training the acquisition of intellectual resources. The project will result in improved 6 RSTS and other Latvian schools implemented the initial vocational education curricula. The project applicant - RSTS, and partners involved in the Latvian Association of Vocational Education Institutions, Zaļenieku Vocational School, Olaine equipment and Mechanics College, Kandavas Agricultural Technical School, Related Industries Association.

Created teaching materials whitch are important part of wor for teachers in RSTS.Training materials are good and professionally prepared.Intended for a specific audience of professional technical school students better chemistry learning and professional skills improvement.Minuss materils are not translated in english,but it will be done.
Teachers’ Opinion
Initiative Quality improvement of implementation of inicial vocational training programs in Riga State technical school provides an opportunity for interesting group assignments in physics and chemistry lessons. Students acquire teamwork skills and learn how to split responsibilities. The initiative is also applicable for individual tasks.

Dissemination Seminar in Florence

31 October 2015 The seminar has been held in ITIS “A. Meucci” one of the schools involved within Goerudio project activities. Its main aim was to promote the results of the project toward a broad sample of stakeholders even overcrossing the number of people directly involved in the production of project outcomes. This purpose has been totally achieved especially thanks to the participation of students and teachers coming from different schools or from other classes instead of those ones directly involved within the project activities.
