Description of the initiative
inGenious is one of the largest and most strategic projects in science education undertaken in Europe. inGenious aims to increase young Europeans' interest in STEM education and careers, addressing two challenges: lack of interest in these subjects and future skills gaps.

All the actions undertaken in inGenious aim to improve the image of STEM careers among young people and encourage them to think about the wide range of interesting opportunities that STEM can bring to their lives in the future.
More Information
The Ingenious project is a very big initiative and it offers access to really a lot of resources. For example on the video resources http://www.ingenious-science.eu/web/guest/videos one can find classroom resources, role models, teachers’ professional development. The users also access the research reports: http://www.ingenious-science.eu/web/guest/research-report and all project deliverables( like needs analyses, methodologies, etc.) http://www.ingenious-science.eu/web/guest/deliverables
Ingenious offers also participation in communities – teacher community, partner community or community of practice http://www.ingenious-science.eu/web/guest/communities The project also offers access to living repository of practices, which searchable by various criteria http://www.ingenious-science.eu/web/guest/practices The repository covers practices from 18 countries.
Teachers’ Opinion
As in other initiatives this one also offers a lot of materials. What is different is that here one can find real practices happening with companies and participate or try to initiate such in his country.
Students’ Opinion
There are a lot of resources. However I did not find this initiative very interesting because it is hard to see how the materials refer to the different science subjects. May be if a teacher shows use some examples it would be more beneficial than to use the website ourselves.

Dissemination Seminar in Florence

31 October 2015 The seminar has been held in ITIS “A. Meucci” one of the schools involved within Goerudio project activities. Its main aim was to promote the results of the project toward a broad sample of stakeholders even overcrossing the number of people directly involved in the production of project outcomes. This purpose has been totally achieved especially thanks to the participation of students and teachers coming from different schools or from other classes instead of those ones directly involved within the project activities.
